Buffalo State welcomed 145 golfers to the 26th annual Bengal Club Golf Classic on Monday, June 22 at Orchard Park Country Club, raising significant dollars to benefit the nearly 400 student-athletes at the college.
The team of brothers Tom, Mike, Mark and Jim Koller won the men's division, carding a 15-under par 57, whle Nancy Holzerland, Rose Kusmierczyk, Cindy Forth and Marcia Maracle claimed the top spot for the women for the fourth-consecutive year with a four-under score of 68.
Buffalo State would like to thank the numerous sponsors for making the event such a huge success, including presenting sponsor JR Photo Design and Graphics. Hart Hotels, Curtis Screw Co., Custom Tee Activewear, Amtrak, Symbolic Inc., Mister Pizza, Laurel Steel, Cole's, Scoreboards Etc., Advantage Sport & Fitness and Special Tees also helped the tournament reach its financial goal.
