Beaver Island State Park

Beaver Island State Park serves as the home course for Buffalo State's cross country teams. The park is located at the south end of Grand Island (a little more than 10 minutes from campus) in the upper Niagara River. The 950 acre park has a half-mile sandy beach for swimming, adjacent 80 slip marina with both seasonal and transient boat slips, fishing access, bike and nature trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, athletic fields, horseshoe pits, an 18 hole disc golf course, an 18-hole golf course and a historic home which was the summer residence of President Cleveland.
