BUFFALO, NY—No. 1 RIT (19-0-2/12-0-2) scored a pair of goals in both the second and third periods to defeat Buffalo State (7-11/3-9), 4-0, in an ECAC West game today at the Ice Arena.

Despite a scoreless first period, the visiting Tigers dominated play the entire game, going 1 for 8 on the power play and also recording a shorthanded tally.

RIT outshot Buffalo State, 39-14, and Alyssa Koniar (New Berlin, WI/Univ. School of Milwaukee) had 35 saves in the loss.

Buffalo State travels to Oswego for an ECAC West game Friday at 7 p.m.
