CORTLAND, NY—Seniors Marissa McMullan (Haileybury, ON/Chingaucousy) and Katie Olejarski (Rockford, IL/Boylan Catholic) each scored in their final collegiate games to help Buffalo State (9-14-1/5-12-1) skate to a 3-3 tie in the season finale at Cortland (4-18-3/3-12-3) this afternoon.

Christine Williams (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) opened the scoring just 1:24 into the game for Buffalo State, but Cortland took a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. McMullan evened the score with a shorthanded goal, and Olejarski tallied on the power play, pushing the Bengals back ahead 3-2 by the close of the second period. Cortland scored its second power-play goal of the game to even the score 7:10 into the final frame to complete the scoring.

The Red Dragons outshot Buffalo State, 33-25. Senior Alyssa Koniar (New Berlin, WI/U. School of Milwaukee) made 30 saves for the Bengals in her final game. The fourth Bengal senior Amanda Johnston (Thunder Bay, ON/Sir Winston Churchill) also contributed with a pair of assists.
