CENTERVILLE, Mass—The ECAC West announced its 2012-13 women's ice hockey all-conference teams and bestowed a pair of honors on Buffalo State's Nikki Kirchberger (Buffalo/West Seneca West), naming her honorable mention and to the All-Rookie team.

The freshman scored a team-best eight goals and was second on the team with 11 points.  Kirchberger split time on forward and defense during her rookie campaign.  Four of her goals came in the final six games of the season.

Kirchberger is the second Bengal to be recognized on the ECAC West All-Rookie team.
