Lovell Smith (Buffalo/McKinley) who had 18 points and 10 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jordan Glover (Buffalo/St. Joe's) netted 13 points to go with four assists to support the Bengals' attack.
- Mike Henry (Syracuse/West Genesee) added 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Dom Grayer (Brooklyn/Bishop Loughlin) also tallied 11 points.
- Alvernia could not contend with the Bengals' depth as Buffalo State's bench outscored Alveria's 26-1.
- Buffalo State jumped out to an 8-0 lead, but the Crusaders answered with a 19-5 run to lead 19-13.
- The Bengals battled back and reclaimed the lead just before halftime at 38-36. Buffalo State trailed by one briefly early in the second half, but never fell behind again.

- George Williams led Alvernia with 25 points and seven assists.
- Marquis Marshall added 21 points and eight rebounds.
NOTEWORTHY
- Lovell Smith and Nico McLean are closing in on becoming the 22nd and 23rd players in Buffalo State history to score 1,000 career points. Smith is just 14 points shy of the milestone, and McLean, who did not play today, needs 55.
