ECAC West Release

For the second-consecutive week, Buffalo State's Natasha Steinle (Morrison, CO/Canadian International Hockey Acad.) was named the ECAC West women's hockey Rookie of the Week after helping the Bengals collect three wins, including a two-game conference sweep of William Smith over the weekend.

Steinle scored twice in Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Herons, and followed it with another tally in Sunday's 2-1 win.  The criminal justice major has scored six goals in her last six games. 

With the 3-0 week, Buffalo State has now won five-straight games and improved to 10-4-1 (5-3-0).  The Bengals currently sit fourth in the ECAC West.

Buffalo State heads to Cortland to take on the Red Dragons (1-12-0, 0-8-0) this Friday and Saturday in a conference season-series at Alumni Arena.  Both games are set to face off at 2 p.m.
