GENESEO, N.Y.—SUNYAC leading scorer John Decker netted 41 point to lead host Geneseo to a 92-87 victory over Buffalo State in a league game this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nico McLean (Buffalo/Amherst) led five Buffalo State players scoring in double-figures with 24 points and added seven assists.
- Dom Grayer (Brooklyn/Bishop Loughlin) netted 20 points off the bench.
- Mike Henry (Syracuse/West Genesee) chipped in 17 points to go with eight rebounds.
- Lovell Smith (Buffalo/McKinley) added 12 points and six boards, and Jordan Glover (Buffalo/St. Joe's) had 10 points and four assists.
- Buffalo State used a 20-6 run late in the first half to erase an 11-point deficit and take a 46-42 lead into the intermission.
- Geneseo answered with a 12-0 run of its own early in the second half to build another double-digit lead that it would never relinquish.
- The Knights led by 12 with five minutes remaining, but Buffalo State battled back and cut the lead to three late, but Geneseo sealed the win with a pair of free throws in the final seconds.
- The Knights were 10 of 23 from 3-point range, while Buffalo State connected on 8 of 25 from beyond the arc, including just 1 of 10 in the second half.
- Geneseo also held a 42-28 rebounding advantage that led to a 17-8 edge in second-chance points.

- Decker made seven 3-pointers and was 16 of 16 at the free-throw line.
- Justin Ringen tallied 23 points on 10 of 13 shooting from the field and grabbed nine rebounds
- Kevin Crockett added 12 points.
